Frequently asked questions
How many family members can be on one membership?
One membership covers your entire immediate family — parents and children living in the same household. All family members get individual profiles in the app and contribute to your family’s combined ranking and points total.
Do my children need to be a certain level to join?
No. The Family Cup uses a scramble format — parent and child play together as a team, so skill levels complement each other. Complete beginners and experienced juniors are both very welcome.
What is the difference between free community and full membership?
Free community members join the WhatsApp local group for their country, connect with other golf families nearby, share course recommendations, and hear about local events before anyone else.
Full members get the Family Golf App full of microcourses, challenges, a motivational points system for training, live leaderboards, access to Family Cup competitions and ranking points, a monthly prize draw, and a path to the annual Family Cup Championship.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. No contracts, no minimum term. Cancel at any time. Please note that founding members who cancel lose their locked €19 / month rate permanently — the standard price of €39 / month applies if you rejoin later.
Is the founding member price really locked forever?
Yes. The first 500 families who join at €19 / month keep that price for as long as their membership stays active and uninterrupted. The standard price will rise to €39 / month once the founding cohort is full.
Which countries can join?
TFGC is open to families worldwide. At launch, we have active WhatsApp communities and Family Cup events across Europe. Families from any country can join the international membership and access all digital benefits immediately.
