The Family Golf Festival brings together every generation for a celebration of golf, connection, and shared experiences on and off the course. From the competitive spirit of the Golf Dad Masters, to the relaxed Golf Mum Sip & Putt, the rising talent of the Junior League, and the Family Golf Cup where families compete both on-site and online in real time, every moment is part of one connected experience. Surrounded by food, music, games, entertainment and prizes, the club transforms into a vibrant festival atmosphere where golf becomes something the whole family can enjoy together.

What to Expect at the Family Golf Festival in Malta
Junior League
“The future stars take centre stage.” All Junior League age categories compete across two days, building toward the finals.
Golf Dad Masters
“Where legends are made.” The dads take to the course Saturday evening for a competition that’s equal parts pride and bragging rights.
Family Golf Cup
“The game is played everywhere.” Families compete on-site in Malta and online from their home course, with scores submitted through Wember and combined into one live leaderboard.
Golf Mum Sip & Putt
“Where style meets the fairway.” A relaxed putting competition for the mums on Sunday evening, leading into the festival’s closing celebration.

Playing virtually? Your round can be played on your own home course. You’ll still take part in the same Family Golf Cup leaderboard as the families on-site in Malta — see the Wember access details below.
Family Golf Cup: Your Wember Access
The Family Golf Cup runs through Wember, our scoring platform. There’s nothing to download — your login link and access details are sent by email ahead of the event. Each round has its own login window:
- Semi-Finals (Day 1, Saturday 4 October): login window 08:00–09:00 CET. Submit your scorecard the same day, after your round.
- Finals (Day 2, Sunday 5 October): login window 08:00–09:00 CET. Submit your scorecard the same day, after your round.
On-site families submit their cards in person after the round; virtual families submit through Wember the same way, from wherever they’re playing.
If You’re Joining Us On-Site: Getting to Royal Malta Golf Club
Royal Malta Golf Club is centrally located on Aldo Moro Road in Marsa, between the airport and Malta’s main tourist areas. Your driver will need: Royal Malta Golf Club, Aldo Moro Road, Marsa MRS9064, Malta.
From Malta International Airport (MLA)
10–15 minutes by taxi, typically €15–€25 with Bolt, Uber, eCabs, or the official airport white taxis. Pre-booked private sedan transfers run around €40. Leave the airport at least 30 minutes before your tee time.

Night 1 — Kulu Restaurant
Saturday evening, Marsa Sports Club. €50 per person, discounted rate for children. Booked separately from your festival ticket.
Night 2 — Awards Dinner, The Fairway
Sunday evening, rooftop at Royal Malta Golf Club. Included in your festival ticket — please RSVP so we can confirm numbers.
Dress code: smart casual / resort wear for both evenings. Standard golf attire applies on the course.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can my family take part if we can’t travel to Malta?
Yes — the Family Golf Cup is built for this. Play your round at your home course and submit your scorecard through Wember during the login window; your family is scored alongside everyone playing on-site.
How does the Wember login work if there’s no app to download?
You’ll receive a login link by email before the event. No download is needed — just open the link during your round’s login window and submit your scorecard once you’ve finished.
What if we’re not a golfing family — is there still something for us?
Absolutely. The festival atmosphere — food, music, games, entertainment and prizes — runs throughout the weekend, so non-playing family members have just as much to enjoy as those on the course.
Which Junior League age categories can play?
All six — Pipits, Robins, Linnets, Martins, Sterlings and Merlins are all welcome to compete.
