What is the difference between Tournament Achievement Awards and Progress Achievements?
Tournament Achievement Awards recognise performances within selected partner competitions and may be open to all eligible tournament participants. Progress Achievements are exclusive to Family Golf Club members and follow the junior’s activity throughout the year.
What activities can members log?
Members can log tournament and general-play scorecards, driving-range practice, family rounds, microcourses, challenges and selected Family Golf Club events.
Are all achievements physical?
No. Frequent achievements are normally recognised digitally in the app, while selected major milestones may also receive a physical medal or Junior Golf Passport sticker.
How are physical achievements delivered?
Eligible physical achievements may be presented at events or included in scheduled member achievement packs, depending on the award and location.
Do points and achievements work in the same way?
No. Achievements recognise milestones and progress. Points reward participation and may be exchanged for raffle entries and selected benefits.
How many family members can be on one membership?
One membership covers your entire immediate family — parents and children living in the same household. Every family member gets their own profile in the app.
Do my children need to be at a certain level to join?
No. Family Golf Club is built to reward effort, improvement and participation — not just results. The Family Cup uses a scramble format, so complete beginners and experienced juniors are equally welcome.
What’s the difference between free community and full membership?
Free community members join the WhatsApp local group for their country and get event alerts. Full members get the app, recognition tracking, monthly raffle entries, the international Members Lounge, camp booking access, and Family Cup event access.
Can I cancel any time?
Family membership is annual. When you cancel, you opt out at the end of the season. Founding members who cancel lose their locked €19/month rate permanently — the standard price of €39/month applies if you rejoin later.
Is the founding member price really locked forever?
Yes. The first 500 families who join at €19/month keep that price for as long as their membership stays active and uninterrupted. The standard price rises to €39/month once the founding cohort is full.
Which countries can join?
Family Golf Club is open to families across Europe. At launch, we have active WhatsApp communities and Family Cup events in several countries, and families from any European country can join and access all digital benefits immediately.
Do I need to know anything about golf to support my child?
No. The app is built for parents who aren’t golf experts. It translates rounds and practice into simple, clear achievements and recognition — so you always know what your child is working on, without needing technical golf knowledge.
Does this replace my child’s coach?
No. The app is built to support coaching, not replace it. It helps you understand what your child is working on and keeps that progress visible between lessons — most families use it alongside their existing coach or academy.
How much time does the app take each week?
Very little. Most families spend a few minutes logging a round or practice session. The goal is clarity, not another thing to manage.
Is my family’s data private and secure?
Yes. Your family’s activity and recognition profile is private to your family and any coach you choose to share it with. We don’t sell or share personal performance data.
What’s different from just keeping a scorecard?
A scorecard shows one result on one day. Family Golf Club tracks effort, improvement and participation over the whole season — so consistency and growth get recognised, not just the number at the end of a round.
