Membership Terms Addendum
Effective date: 01/09/2026 · Last updated: 01/09/2026
This addendum applies to Members (paying family accounts) in addition to our Platform Terms. Where the two conflict on a membership-specific point, this addendum controls.
1. What’s included
An FGC family membership includes: the FGC app and achievement/recognition system across the eight development dimensions (short game, putting, tee shots, physical fitness, confidence & resilience, commitment, growth mindset, engagement); access to the FamilyGolf Guide; eligibility for Family Cup events, the annual Championship, and the Family Golf Awards; and access to partner club and camp listings. Membership does not include green fees, event entry fees, camp fees, or travel costs, which are paid separately as disclosed at the time of booking.
2. Billing
Founding member rate: €19.99/month, billed annually, available to the first 500 families to join. This rate is locked for as long as the membership remains active and uninterrupted. A 30-day free trial applies before the first charge.
Standard rate: €39/month, once the founding cohort of 500 is filled or a founding member’s membership lapses.
Cancellation: You may cancel at any time via your account settings, including during the free trial with no charge. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period, except as required by applicable consumer protection law.
Refunds: If you believe you have been charged in error, contact [email protected] within 14 days of the charge.
Price changes: We will give at least 30 days’ written notice by email before any change to the standard rate. Founding member rates are not subject to price changes while the membership remains active and uninterrupted.
Rejoining: If a founding member’s membership lapses or is cancelled, the founding rate is forfeited and the standard rate applies to any subsequent membership.
Payments are processed by Stripe, with Famico as the operating entity. See our Privacy Policy for how your payment data is handled.
3. Referral programme
Existing Members may refer other families. Successful referrals earn a credit for the referring family and a discount for the new family, applied via Stripe promo codes and Customer Balance, capped at 5 rewarded referrals per family per year.
When you refer someone, you are providing FGC with that person’s name and contact details before they have had a chance to see our Privacy Policy. By submitting a referral, you confirm you have that person’s permission to share their details with us for this purpose. We will contact the referred person to let them know how their details reached us and provide our Privacy Policy before processing any further data about them.
4. Events and participation
Entry to Family Cup events and the annual Championship requires an active FGC membership at the time of registration and participation. FGC reserves the right to refuse entry or remove a participant for conduct that is unsafe, disrespectful, or in breach of these terms. Separate event-specific terms, green fee arrangements, liability waivers, and — for events involving minors — a specific imagery notice, may apply for individual events, and take precedence over this section for that event where they conflict.
Participation in any golf event carries inherent physical risk. FGC accepts no liability for personal injury, property damage or loss sustained during any event beyond what is required by applicable law. All participants are advised to hold appropriate personal sports insurance. Parents and guardians are responsible for assessing the suitability of any event, including evening or travel-based events, for their children.
5. Recognition system — no public ranking
The achievement and recognition system is private to your family and, where you choose to share it, a Coach. FGC does not publish public leaderboards, rankings, or league tables of Junior Profiles. Family Cup and Championship results are used to run those specific competitions and to inform the Family Golf Awards (Family of the Year, Family-Friendly Club categories); they are not used to create a public ranking of junior golfers.
